I've posted about "붕어빵" before. Though I said I like 붕어빵, 붕어빵 is not my favorite. My favorite Korean winter food is 계란빵(Gyeran-bbang: Egg bread).

This is 계란빵. When I was young, I used to buy it pretty often, and I really really love it. I might wait for winter because of 계란빵. :P

But now days, It's rather hard to find the store, so I couldn't eat egg bread as often as I used to. Probably I can find it at 종로(Jong-no).
SO! Guess what?! I finally started to cook 계란빵.
It's really really easy way. Though you are in foreign country, you can make it! ;) Today I'm going to tell you how to make it.
One day, one of my friends told me that my postings are usually about foods. Unfortunately it totally makes sense, and I was pretty sorry. I even posted about how to make 김치부침개 (Kimchi pancake), but it was probably difficult for foreign people because they can't get Kimchi easily. But this recipe is super super easy and you can get ingredients in everywhere, so you guys can try it whenever you want. :D
Let's get started!
Add pancake flour, an egg and...
MILK!
Because I didn't use scale, I don't know exact quantity. Probably 150~200g of flour, and 80~120ml of milk.
Mix them.
Add the mixture to muffin cups about 1/3 pull.
Add an egg to each cup, and add salt a bit. Don't forget to poke the yolk with toothpick, if you don't, it must blow up! (It never mean to beat it.)
According to your liking, add some things like parsley, ham, and cheese on the egg.
Bake for about 20 minutes in 180 degree oven. (It depends on your oven though.)
Ta-da! Now everything is ready. It's time for you to enjoy your 계란빵!
I actually think the 계란빵 I ate in my childhood is the best in my life. I can't find any 계란빵 has same taste. haha
Anyway, try to cook this Korean food. It would be nice to eat in winter!
With this recipe, you can make 5~6 breads.
