On my way home, I suddenly wanted to eat "붕어빵(Bung-a-bbang)"
You guys may wonder what Bung-a-bbang is then. D: We probably call it "fish shaped bun" in English. Bung-a means a crap, and bbang means "bread". Here's some pictures to help you to get it.
Yay~! I finally arrived at store. The fishes were waiting for me to buy them. haha
It's pretty easy to find some kind of this store on the street in winter. Few years ago, there is only taste of sweet red bean, but now days fish-shaped bun has taste of custard cream, and pizza. There is even an ice cream which has fish shaped. I pretty like the ice-cream. But I haven't tasted the custard, or pizza buns yet because I prefer the original one. :D
I bought a pack of it.
It's commonly measured in money, so people usually buy 1,000won's worth 2,000won's worth, or something like this.
There are three fish-shaped burns in a pack. Hmm, delicious smell! :P
Ta-da. It's a fish-shaped burn. Doesn't it really have fish shape? :D
I really like the fish tail!
Like this, the fish is full of sweet red bean. (It was too hot!)
I've heard that Korean fish-shaped bun is originated from Japanese bun, snapper bread.
Anyway, this bun is loved by the people of Korea, at least by me! :D
