김치부침개 - Kimchi pancake

Since it's getting colder and colder, I'm looking for something hot to eat.
부침개(Buchimgae: Korean pancakes) is nice for rainy day. It's not rainy today though, but I decided to make Kimchi pancakes.

Today I'm here to introduce Kimchi pancake and the recipe.

To make Kimchi pancake, you need to prepare: an egg, pan frying powder (or flour)

AND...

KIMCHI!

Firstly, finely chop the Kimchi. Place an egg and flour in to the mixing bowl, and add the Kimchi.
If you think Kimchi pancake is so spicy that you can't eat well, rinse the Kimchi with cold water before add.

Like this!
You can use water instead of an egg.(some people add water instead of an egg)
If you want, You can add onion, pork or squid. (This time, I didn't add anything else.)

And mix them.

If the mixture is too try, or if you think salt is needed, add Kimchi liquid instead of water or salt.

Okay, let's bake it then.

Heat the flying pan and add oil. Of course, you need to heat the oil in the flying pan.

Put a ladle of the mixture. (Put few ladles of the mixture if you want to make big pancake.)
If you press it while baking, it must be good to bake it well and crispy.

When the color is changed and it seems nicely baked,

turn it!

Now, finally you are ready to enjoy your Kimchi pancake.  :D
(The first one was actually burnt A BIT, but everything was fine.)

p.s: You can make big pancake as well.
