간장 떡볶이 (Soy sauce tteokpokki)

If somebody ask me about popular spicy food in Korea, one of food I can answer is 떡볶이(Tteokpokki).

It's one of street food, and common, so a lots of Korean people enjoy tihs food I guess. But I actually don't like this food as much as people like. I like to eat home made tteokpokki, but I rarely eat it outside. I even don't enjoy too spicy food much.

But one day, on my way home, I just fancy 떡볶이! But not spicy way. I came up with 간장 떡볶이(Soy sauce tteokpokki).

So when I arrived at home, I started to make it.

I'm going to share the recipe now:

Firstly, prepare ingredients such as onions, ham, ramen noodle, and

떡(tteok: rice cake)

Before start cooking, make sauce like this.
(Soy sauce + water + Asian Apricot liquid + sesame oil + gochujang)
You can add sugar instead of Asian Apricot liquid and gochujang is red pepper paste.

Add oil to pan and make it hot

When it became hot, add onions.

Then, add tteok and just cook it until the tteok is golden.

Add ham.

About a minute later, add the sauce, and water.

Then, put ramen in to the pan.

Hmm, it's going to be cooked alright!

When the ramen noodle is cooked well , add sesame.

Finally everything is done. It doesn't take long time, so you can enjoy it as late night meal even!

Yummy~
Why don't you try it at this night? haha
