빙수(Bingsoo: Shaved Ice with Syrup)

Last week, I told you about  냉면 which is one of Korean summer season foods.

BUT

Summer is too hot and too long to endure with only one food!

So, I'm here to let you know another Korean summer season foods. ;)

Today's food is 빙수(Bingsoo: Shaved Ice with Syrup)!

빙수 means shaved ice with Syrup, sugar, or seasonings. So its original thing is probably shaved ice with red beans. It's called 팥빙수(Patbingsu). 팥(Pat) means red bean.

These days, its taste has increased much, so you can easily find a lots of kinds of 빙수 in summer like 녹차빙수(Greentea), 오레오빙수(oreos), 망고빙수(Mango), 커피빙수(Coffee), etc..

Before I decided to write about it, I was trying to find pictures of 빙수 I've eaten so far, but I couldn't find much since I changed my phone about an year ago. :(

ANYWAY.

I will show you what I've found.

It's kind of traditional, and original 빙수.
It's real 팥빙수!

Here's the picture from one of my favorite store, 가온길.
Left one is 팥빙수 and right one is 수정과빙수.
수정과(sujeonggwa): Koreanpersimmon punch

Left one is 수정과빙수 and right one is 완두콩(pea)빙수

It's from Coffine gurunaru.

How to eat?

Just spoon into the bowl

and MIX! :D

Then only one thing you need to do is

JUST EAT! ;)
